Your Journey

Meet your Sherpa

Often changes can feel overwhelming. What's your challenge? Need guidance on making changes? Make improvements in relationships? I freeze at times and don't like it. A goal I can't seem to reach. A lot of pain from a loss. Feeling low Self-Confidence and too much anxiety...

I’m Lisa Lichtenstein, LMFT, CHT, NLP. I provide psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) to individuals and couples. I can discuss with you whether one approach or a combination best fits your objectives.

Psychotherapy can be helpful when low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, or unhealthy relationships leave you unhappy with yourself or your life. It can also help you look at long-standing patterns in your relationships with other people and with yourself. For example, working on your relationship with yourself can free creativity and performance overall.

Hypnotherapy and NLP work with the unconscious part of the mind to support positive change, including replacing unwanted habits or patterns with healthier alternatives. These tools may also work toward achieving your goals or objectives.

The psychological sherpa

Every climb or challenge in life starts in the present.

What’s your pain-point:

What’s your pain-point:

Individual and Couples Therapy

  1. Camp 1

    Name it

Name the hurt, questions, or pattern that keeps bringing you back to the same painful place.

  2. Camp 2

    Map the route

Make the route Specific, Measured, Achievable, Reasonable, and Timed, so each conversation has a purpose you can revisit.

  3. Camp 3

    The right tools

Psychotherapy can help understand relationship patterns. Hypnosis or NLP may help rehearse a steadier response when those tools fit your goals.

  4. Summit

    I did it

Progress may look like a clearer question, a more honest conversation, or a choice you can make with care.

  5. Descent

    Bring it home

And we come back down step by step, so the change stays with you. Together, we return to daily life one step at a time.

Does this sound familiar?

Clients sometimes feel like they need to be prepared to have something to say, almost like performance anxiety. Sometimes the most fruitful sessions are derived with showing up with a willingness to work on yourself. The process then begins.

My relationships keep leaving me hurt, confused or stuck.

I can help you understand the pattern and practice healthier responses and choices..

01

I keep second-guessing myself and feeling like I am not enough.

I can help you face the shame and self-doubt while you practice a steadier, kinder way of seeing yourself.

02

I am waiting for someone to realize I do not really belong here.

I can look at the story underneath imposter syndrome and help you find more confidence and choice.
